relationship with your pup and also help others find loving homes.

A quick online search will give you access to several artists that specialize in pet portraits. Each creates works of art in their own unique style. Find one that appeals most to you and reach out to them with your favorite photo. This way, you’ll have a piece of meaningful wall art that perfectly captures this moment in time with your much-loved pup.

Hold a bake sale

Find recipes for pet-safe dog treats and whip up a few batches to sell for a cause. Offer them to fellow dog lovers in your community and donate your proceeds to your local shelter. Better yet, prepare extra batches to give to shelter pups in need of some cheering up as they wait for someone to welcome them into their forever homes.

 Go on an adventure

Enjoy what’s left of the summer and take your dog out for an outdoor adventure. You can camp at a nearby lakeside property, go on a hike up the mountains, or book a cabin in a secluded forest. Just make sure you keep an eye out for common autumn hazards since the fall season is just around the corner.

Promote a shelter dog

Not everyone has the resources to adopt or foster, but there are many other things you can do to improve the predicament of rescue dogs. For example, you can work with one shelter dog at a time and do what you can to improve their chances of getting adopted.

Dress them up in a cute t-shirt or aww-inducing dress to make them irresistibly cute! Then, take a few snaps and share their stories on your social media to gain traction
